Trade names of asbestos containing materials

The fibre column should be treated with caution. I have given the type and percentage of fibre where I have managed to obtain it from the original manufacture, but this has not always been possible as some manufacturers are no longer in business and some manufacturers have been more helpful than others.
Where a drawing shows a product was specified it does not necessarily mean that that product was used, breaking specifications was and is a common occurrence, with the replacement product possible being imported and having a different fibre content.

The only way to be sure of a product's fibre content is by an analysis by a UKAS approved laboratory.

Trade names and descriptions were often the same in the past.
